Who we are

Ringtap is operated by Akin Yavuz trading as Nith Digital, a sole trader registered in England and Wales. By using Ringtap you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Ringtap is

Ringtap is a software tool that helps sole traders and small businesses follow up on missed phone calls via WhatsApp. When a call is forwarded to Ringtap's number, the service sends an automated WhatsApp message to the caller and uses AI to gather basic lead information on your behalf.

Ringtap is a tool only. It does not employ staff, answer calls on your behalf, or guarantee any business outcome. You remain fully responsible for all customer relationships and commercial decisions.

What we are not responsible for

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ringtap is not liable for:

• Missed calls that are not forwarded correctly due to carrier settings, network issues, or incorrect call forwarding configuration by the user
• Incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate lead data collected during AI conversations — the AI may misunderstand customers or collect partial information
• Lost business resulting from any failure of the service, including outages, delays, or incorrect AI responses
• WhatsApp delivery failures caused by Meta's platform, Twilio's infrastructure, or the recipient's device or settings
• Actions taken by AI — all AI responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inappropriate, inaccurate, or unhelpful. You should monitor conversations and follow up directly with leads
• Any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of Ringtap

Your responsibilities

By using Ringtap you agree to:

• Configure your call forwarding correctly — Ringtap can only help if calls actually reach us
• Inform your customers that missed calls may be handled by an automated WhatsApp service (see our suggested wording in the Privacy Policy)
• Use Ringtap only for lawful business purposes
• Not attempt to abuse the trial system — one trial per phone number
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Not use Ringtap to send unsolicited or spam messages

Trial and subscription

New accounts receive a free trial of up to 10 missed call recoveries. No credit card is required to start. After the trial:

• Further missed call recoveries require an active subscription at £19/month
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
• You may cancel at any time — your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• One trial per phone number — creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free recoveries is not permitted and may result in account termination

WhatsApp and third-party services

Ringtap depends on third-party services to function:

• Twilio — WhatsApp Business API and voice infrastructure. Subject to Twilio's Terms of Service
• Meta / WhatsApp — message delivery. Subject to WhatsApp Business Policy
• Anthropic — AI responses. Subject to Anthropic's Terms
• Stripe — payments. Subject to Stripe's Services Agreement

We are not liable for any failure, change in policy, or interruption by these third parties.

Intellectual property

All content, design, and code within Ringtap is owned by Nith Digital. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without written permission.

You retain ownership of your business data (leads, notes, call history). We do not claim any rights over it.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Abuse the trial system
• Use Ringtap for unlawful purposes
• Violate WhatsApp Business Policy
• Have outstanding unpaid balances

You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@ringtap.co.uk.

Limitation of liability

Ringtap's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of Ringtap after changes constitutes acceptance.
