Who we are

Ringtap is operated by Akin Yavuz trading as Nith Digital, a sole trader registered in England and Wales.

What we collect and why

Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address, business name, business type, and mobile number. We use this to create your account, configure your call forwarding, and send you lead summaries.

Call data
When a call is missed and forwarded to Ringtap, we log the caller's phone number, the time of the call, and the call status. We use this to operate the service and display your lead inbox in the dashboard.

Conversation data
When your caller responds via WhatsApp, we store the messages exchanged between the caller and our AI assistant. We use this to:

Notes and status updates
Any notes you add to a lead and any status changes (New, Called back, Won, Lost) are stored against that lead record. Only you can see these.

Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.

Your callers' data

When one of your customers calls your forwarded number and receives a WhatsApp message from Ringtap, their phone number and messages are processed on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your customers are aware their missed call may be handled by an automated WhatsApp service. We recommend adding a note to your voicemail or business listings such as: "If we miss your call, you'll receive a WhatsApp from our team shortly."

WhatsApp and Twilio

Our WhatsApp messaging is powered by Twilio's WhatsApp Business API, which connects to Meta's WhatsApp platform. By using Ringtap, you acknowledge that:

AI processing

Our AI assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude. Conversation messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate replies and lead summaries. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models by default. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.

Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase, a cloud database provider with servers in the EU. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
